Job Description

Agricultural Drone Operator to take full responsibility for the planning and operation of an EAVision J100 drone, 32k generator, and trailer. This role requires a self-motivated professional with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, willingness to work outside for long periods of time, and an unwaivering commitment to excellence. The ideal candidate takes initiative, works independently, and values loyalty, honesty, and efficiency in their daily operations.

Pay: $1.50 - 2.50 / acre starting depending on experience. Potential for fast growth ($3000-4000 per week) depending on job availability, performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

Drone Operation & Maintenance: Expect to fly and spray 300-400 acres per day in a single location or in multiple locations.

Operate and maintain the latest in agricultural drone technology, the EAVision J100 drone, for agricultural pesticide applications, with a focus on precision and accuracy.

Conduct routine inspections, troubleshoot issues, and perform necessary routine repairs or maintenance on the drones, generators, pumps and hoses and trailer.

Adhere to all regulations, safety protocols, and operational guidelines for agricultural drone use.

Equipment & Logistics Management

Operate and maintain an EAVision J100 agricultural drone.

Operate and maintain a 32k generator and trailer, ensuring proper function, readiness and power output.

Transport, set up, and secure all necessary equipment at job sites.

Monitor fuel, battery levels, and other essential resources to maintain continuous operations.

Operational Planning & Execution

Plan and execute drone flight plans using EAVision field and route planning software. Planning focuses on precision, accuracy and efficiency while adhering to agricultural and federal regulations with regard to pesticide application.

Coordinate with customers to ensure precise and accurate coverage of fields and farms.

Maintain detailed flight logs, application rates, environmental conditions, products used and other pertinent information.

Ethical & Professional Conduct

Demonstrate integrity, reliability, and loyalty in all aspects of the job. Have a clean driving and criminal record and be able to pass a drug screening.

Uphold the highest standards of safety, environmental responsibility, and ethical work practices.

Work independently while maintaining strong communication with team members and supervisors.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Experience in drone operation is preferred (preferably agricultural drones). Knowledge of aerial application techniques and experience in agricultural drone spraying is preferred but not necessary for the right candidate.

Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot and maintain drone and generator equipment.

Ability to work outdoors, 8-12 hours per day for multiple days in a row, in varying weather conditions and handle physical aspects of equipment setup, tear down and relocation.

Strong initiative, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.

[ ] Valid and current driver’s license, with a clean driving record, and the ability to transport equipment to job sites via 20' goose neck trailer.

[ ] FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate (or willingness to obtain prior to start).

[ ] FAA Class 3 medical certificate (or ability to obtain prior to start).

[ ] Kansas Department of Ag General and Part 1A certification or reciprocal certification valid in Kansas and Oklahoma (or willingness to obtain before start).

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in precision agriculture or spray drone operations.

Background in farming, agronomy, or related industries.

Technical proficiency with drone software and mapping tools.
