Job Description

Overview

Administers human resources policies or programs in a single location of a multi-location organization. Provides human resources services, to include recruiting and staffing, training and development, employee relations, and equal employment opportunity compliance.

Essential Functions

• Interprets and administers organizational human resources policies and programs, relating to recruitment and onboarding, training and career development, and employee relations
• Assists line managers in the application of HR programs to departmental operations
• Maintains employee associated records
• Completes personnel transactions and ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including EEO, FMLA, and FLSA
• Answers basic employee questions about human resources policies or offerings
• Schedules interviews, orientations, or training sessions
• Manages the safety training programs and applicable OSHA Forms
• Coordinates Workmans' Compensation filing with third party insurance and maintains all appropriate files
• Provides coaching and counseling to employees regarding disciplinary issues
• Maintains strict confidentiality
• Performs other duties and/or tasks as assigned

Required Qualifications and Education

• Associate's Degree: Human Resource or related field
• 2-4 Years experience
• Interpersonal skills
• Verbal and written communication
• Confidentiality and integrity
