Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ED)

Key Responsibilities of the Travel ED Nurse

• Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced ED environment
• Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care based on clinical need
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinical guidelines
• Monitor patient conditions and respond effectively to medical emergencies
• Collaborate closely with physicians, paramedics, and the wider multidisciplinary team
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with hospital policies

Requirements of the Travel ED Nurse

• Valid North Carolina RN license or Compact License
• BLS certification
• Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department experience
• Strong clinical decision-making skills and the ability to thrive under pressure
