Additional information about the company can be found at WhirlpoolCorp.com . **This role in summary** **Position provides functional support to install and maintain electrical work on plant electrical systems and equipment. Responsible for work on substation, wiring circuits, distribution centers, control panels, electronic devices, etc. Work hours consist of a rotating 10-hr shift with 8 days on, 6 days off. This may require presence at facility during night shifts, weekends and holidays. This is a Safety Sensitive position. Employees in this classification will be included on the list of employees who may be randomly screened under our Substance Abuse policy.** **This is a 2nd or 3rd shift position** **A resume must be submitted to be considered for the position** **Your responsibilities will include** Install and maintain electrical work on plant electrical systems and equipment with minimum supervision, using a broad knowledge of applied trade practices and technique. The use of ladders, raised platforms, caged lifts, and manual climbing on equipment at various heights up to and including 25 feet is required. Plan, layout and install complex wiring circuits and distribution centers in conformance with established codes, install switches and controls, central subsidiary control panels, electronic devices and all other duties incidental to installation. Maintain substation; diagnose and remedy all electrical, electronic and mechanical troubles. Work from wiring, hydraulic, pneumatic schematic drawings and code book. Use all electrical measuring and testing devices.
