About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join a leading electrical subcontractor delivering high-performance data center projects across Georgia and the Southeast region.

As the Electrical Estimator, you’ll play a key role in developing accurate, competitive bids for large-scale electrical construction projects within the mission-critical sector . You’ll work closely with preconstruction, project management, and operations teams to analyze drawings, evaluate materials and labor costs, and help secure high-value projects with global clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Review design drawings, specifications, and bid documents to develop detailed electrical estimates.
• Perform take-offs of materials, equipment, and labor required for construction.
• Evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes to ensure scope coverage and accuracy.
• Prepare and submit RFPs, budgets, and bid proposals for data center projects.
• Collaborate with the preconstruction and project management teams on design-build and conceptual estimates.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and value-engineering alternatives.
• Participate in project hand-offs to ensure a smooth transition from estimating to field execution.
• Stay current on market pricing, material trends, and industry benchmarks .

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in electrical estimating , ideally within data centers, industrial, or mission-critical environments.
• Strong understanding of NEC codes, electrical systems, and construction means & methods.
• Proficiency with estimating software (Accubid, Trimble, Bluebeam, or similar).
• Ability to read and interpret complex drawings and technical documents.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Proven ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced preconstruction environment.
