Job Description

Electrical Engineer

San Francisco, CA

We’re looking for an Electrical Engineer who wants to do more than push drawings. This role is for someone who enjoys solving real design challenges, collaborating closely with architects and engineers, and seeing their work translate into high-performing buildings across the Bay Area.

You’ll join a technically strong, design-focused team and take ownership of electrical systems from concept through construction support. The work is varied, fast-moving, and suited for an engineer who is comfortable taking initiative and applying sound judgment.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Design and develop electrical systems for commercial and institutional building projects
  • Engineering calculations (load calculations, short circuit calculations, generator sizing, voltage drop, Title 24 compliance forms)
  • Coordinate closely with internal disciplines, architects, and clients
  • Review shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals; provide construction-phase support
  • Participate in client meetings and design reviews
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement of design standards

What We’re Looking For

  • 5–10 years of electrical engineering experience in the building design industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering (required)
  • LEED Accreditation
  • EIT certification preferred; PE license a strong plus
  • Experience with California codes and standards
  • Proficiency with Revit and electrical design software
  • Clear communicator with strong technical judgment and attention to detail

Why Consider This Role

  • High-quality, design-driven projects throughout San Francisco and the Bay Area
  • A collaborative environment that values technical excellence and professional growth
  • Competitive compensation, benefits, and long-term career development
  • Exposure to complex projects without unnecessary bureaucracy

If you’re ready to step into a role where your expertise is trusted and your work makes a visible impact, this position offers room to grow and contribute at a high level.
