About the Role:

As the Director of Emergency Services & Short Stay Outpatient Unit, you will play a key role in the overall management and coordination of our Emergency Department and Short Stay Outpatient Unit. Your leadership will be crucial in ensuring seamless, efficient, and top-notch patient care that aligns with the mission and objectives of Community Hospital.

What You'll Need:

Education & Licensure:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
  • Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN), Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in emergency nursing .
  • At least 3 years in a leadership or management role .

Certifications:

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required.
  • Nurse Executive Board Certification (NEBC) , Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) , or equivalent certification preferred.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills .
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities .
  • Flexibility to work long hours, including evenings and weekends , as required.
  • Proficiency in healthcare software and electronic medical records (EMR) systems .
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment .

Benefits & Compensation:

This positions hiring range is $156,000.00 to $179,400.00 annually depending on education and experience.

Discretionary bonuses, relocation expenses, merit increases, market adjustments, recognition bonuses and other forms of discretionary compensation may be paid to eligible employees based upon organizational and individual performance.

Employees are eligible to participate in an attractive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, education assistance, 403(b) with employer matching, and more.
