Seeking a contract to hire Senior Level Delphi Developer expert to help a client that has been having issues with an old system that still runs their business, and it was implemented using Delphi 6 code and the ideal candidate will also have .NET: C# experience as the plan is to migrate over fully to full stack.NET development.
This is an onsite "hybrid" role in the West Houston area (I-10/Memorial area). ****REMOTE****Could be a potential option for the ideal candidate.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in object-oriented programming and.NET; C# Development, experience with Delphi (preferably Delphi XE or later, Delphi 6 used in this job environment), and a solid understanding of software development best practices. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Your primary responsibilities will include writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code, debugging and resolving technical issues, and participating in code reviews. You will also be expected to contribute to the design and architecture of new features and applications, as well as maintain and improve existing codebases. In addition to technical skills, strong communication and problem-solving abilities are essential.
You should be able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. Familiarity with databases (such as SQL Server or MySQL), version control systems (like Git), and experience with legacy systems migration will be considered a plus.
