Looking for a Permanent Day Shift Nurse 6 a.m to 6 p.m. RN or LPN

Full or Part Time. Must be licensed in the State of Iowa

Regency Park Nursing and Rehab Center, Jefferson, Iowa

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Patient Care: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor and assess patient health to ensure optimal care.
• Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical, emotional, and psychological evaluations.
• Monitoring and Documentation: Regularly monitor patient conditions and document changes, progress, and responses to treatments in electronic health records.

• Patient Advocacy: Serve as a patient advocate by communicating effectively with patients and their families, addressing concerns, and ensuring informed decision-making.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure continuity of services.
• Education: Educate patients and families on health management, treatment plans, and preventive measures to promote overall well-being.
• Compliance: Adhere to all regulatory and organizational policies and procedures to maintain a safe and compliant healthcare environment.
• Emergency Response: Provide immediate care and support in emergency situations, including implementing appropriate interventions and notifying necessary personnel.

Qualifications:

• Licensure: Valid and unrestricted (RN or LPN) state of Iowa license.

• Skills: Strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
