Job Description:
Platform Management
Provision, configure, and maintain Databricks workspaces and clusters.
Monitor cluster performance, optimize resource usage, and troubleshoot failures.
Manage user onboarding, role-based access control, and workspace security.
Handle backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
DevOps & Automation
Implement CI/CD pipelines for Databricks notebooks, jobs, and workflows.
Use tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Azure DevOps for infrastructure as code and automated deployments.
Automate cluster creation, job scheduling, and environment upgrades.
Integrate Databricks with cloud services (Azure, AWS, GCP) and enterprise systems.
Monitoring & Troubleshooting
Set up logging, monitoring, and alerting for Databricks jobs and clusters.
Debug job failures and resolve performance bottlenecks.
Collaborate with vendors to apply patches and resolve platform issues.
Collaboration
Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and developers to support pipelines.
Provide technical guidance on Spark optimization and data lakehouse best practices.
Ensure compliance with organizational security and governance policies
