Your Impact & Contributions

  • Drive financial excellence by analyzing and maintaining cost accounting data, including standard costs, variances, and inventory valuations
  • Deliver valuable insights through monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports that inform management decisions
  • Enhance operational efficiency by performing cost roll-ups and standard cost updates in our ERP system
  • Ensure production accuracy by reviewing and analyzing Bills of Materials (BOMs) and routings
  • Identify opportunities for improvement by investigating cost variances and providing strategic recommendations
  • Safeguard company assets by maintaining the fixed asset subledger with precise recording of acquisitions, disposals, and transfers
  • Ensure financial compliance by reconciling fixed asset accounts monthly according to GAAP standards
  • Maintain financial accuracy by calculating and recording depreciation expenses in a timely manner
  • Verify asset integrity through periodic audits confirming physical existence and condition
  • Optimize financial performance by monitoring budgeted versus actual expenses, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring proper cost allocation

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or equivalent experience that demonstrates your financial expertise
  • 1-3 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment where you've developed practical industry knowledge
  • Strong analytical mindset with proven problem-solving abilities that drive business improvements
  • Experience working with ERP systems to manage complex financial data
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite for effective financial reporting and analysis
  • Solid understanding of GAAP, cost accounting principles, fixed asset management, and account reconciliation standards
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills that ensure accuracy in all financial matters
  • Excellent communication abilities that enable you to collaborate effectively across departments
