Spur, a digital staffing agency, seeks a hard-working, punctual, and professional Contract Academic Intervention Teacher for Albertville City Schools.
The Position schedule will be based on the school's standard schedule. While some districts may offer opportunities outside the regular school schedule, these are not guaranteed and will be limited. This position will provide instruction, manage the classroom environment, and promote student learning through small-group academic intervention and remediation services.
DUTIES:
Implementing teacher lesson plans
Maintaining classroom control and discipline
Creating a daily report for the school administrator or his/her designee each day
Monitoring assigned student attendance following school procedures
Setting up essential technology equipment to support classroom instructions
Able to work on an "as-needed" basis or mutually agreed upon schedule
Friendly and approachable attitude
Prior related experience working with children
The ability to lift heavy objects to 40 lbs.
Maintains a professional appearance
Performing other miscellaneous duties as assigned requirements.
Qualifications
Must be able to obtain a State of Alabama Background Check ($48.00)
Must have Appropriate AL Teacher Certification for the instructional needs of students

Compensation
This position pays $200.00 per day
Must be available to work 7:00 am - 3:30 pm Monday - Friday when school is in session. (Hours vary per location)
