Site Manager – Masonry (Matthews, NC) | $55,000–$90,000 | Direct Hire

We are a recruiting and staffing agency partnering with a leading construction firm in their search for an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in masonry or commercial masonry. This is a direct hire opportunity based in Matthews, NC, offering a competitive salary of $55K–$90K, depending on experience.

To apply, candidates must have hands-on masonry experience. General construction experience is not sufficient for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all on-site activities to ensure safety, quality, and efficient workflow.
• Serve as the main point of contact with General Contractors to address site concerns and prevent back charges.
• Lead and coordinate masonry crews, ensuring high productivity and adherence to schedules.
• Verify material deliveries against delivery tickets to ensure accuracy.
• Submit site reports, delivery tickets, and documentation regularly and on time.
• Communicate project risks, delays, or concerns to upper management immediately.
• Document all out-of-scope work for appropriate billing.
• Manage job site inventory and staffing to meet production goals.
• Ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, and deadlines.
• Quickly resolve any quality or safety issues on-site.

Required Experience & Skills:

• Proven experience in masonry or commercial masonry site management.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
• Prior experience supervising crews and managing field operations.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of maintaining a clean, compliant job site.
• Familiarity with OSHA standards and commitment to safety protocols.
