About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to join their senior leadership team. The CIO will be a key partner with business executives, responsible for leveraging IT to create value and support the organization's growth strategy. This role involves developing and implementing IT vision and strategy, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and managing IT risk. The successful candidate will oversee the IT team and external partners, with a focus on initiatives that optimize business results. Specific responsibilities include developing and managing IT budgets, presenting business cases for IT projects, and leading the evaluation and integration of IT systems in the event of corporate acquisitions. The CIO will also be instrumental in increasing the maturity of the IT function and ensuring that it is a key enabler of the business.

Candidates for the CIO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, with a Master's degree or MBA preferred, and at least 10 years' of progressive experience in IT. A minimum of 5 years' in a leadership or management role within an IT department is required, along with a solid understanding of the manufacturing and distribution industry. The ideal candidate will have experience with multi-site IT support, ERP systems, and leading an IT infrastructure function. Experience in corporate mergers and acquisitions and IT integrations is also essential.
