Job Description

T3 Sixty is working with the Southern Indiana REALTORS® Association (SIRA) to find their next CEO. This is an in-office position.

Job Summary

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will serve as a collaborative strategic and operational leader, working in close partnership with the Board of Directors and staff to advance the organization’s mission. Together with the board and team, the CEO will lead initiatives to streamline operations, strengthen internal and external communication, elevate community and industry engagement, and position the organization as a visible, respected, and forward-thinking force in the region.

Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with the Board of Directors to define strategic direction and ensure alignment across all levels of the association.
  2. Ensure all aspects of association operations are functioning efficiently, including financial management, compliance, and day-to-day administration.
  3. Serve as the public face of the organization, actively engaging with the real estate community, local government, civic organizations, and other stakeholders.
  4. Supervise and support association staff, fostering a positive, empowered, and collaborative work culture.
  5. Evaluate and guide the development of association programs, including professional development, events, and MLS operations.
  6. Oversee legal, financial, and governance compliance.
  7. Drive innovation in technology, communication, and member services to meet evolving industry needs.
  8. Maintain active communication and productive partnerships with IAR, NAR, and other relevant organizations.
  9. Implement systems that ensure transparency, responsiveness, and professionalism in all association operations.
  10. Support member recruitment, retention, and orientation.
  11. Address conflicts and disputes among members or within the organization promptly and fairly.

Minimum Requirements

  • 5+ years executive leadership experience, preferably as a CEO, Association Executive, or senior director within a REALTOR® association or similar nonprofit or professional membership organization
  • Deep understanding of the real estate industry and MLS operations strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in relevant field
  • Strong skills in organizational governance, policy implementation, and member engagement
  • Demonstrated skills in strategic planning, decision-making, problem-solving, and communication
  • Proven experience in managing budgets, revenue streams, and financial planning
  • Proven ability to lead and manage staff
  • Ability to pivot quickly with the rapidly changing industry
