As a Chemical Plant Operations Supervisor here at Honeywell Energy & Sustainability Solutions (ESS), you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of our chemical manufacturing facility in Baton Rouge, LA. You will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient production of chemical products, while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. Your leadership and expertise will be instrumental in optimizing plant operations, reducing downtime, controlling production costs, and ensuring the quality of our chemical products.
You will report directly to our Plant Operations Manager and you'll work out of our Baton Rouge, LA location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will have a significant impact on the success and growth of our company. Your strategic oversight and leadership will contribute to increased efficiency, profitability, and operational excellence. By upholding safety and environmental standards, you will mitigate risks and ensure our company's reputation and compliance with regulatory requirements. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Oversee and manage all aspects of the chemical plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality control, and safety. • Develop and implement strategies to optimize plant performance, improve efficiency, and reduce costs. • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and procedures. • Lead and motivate a team of operators and technicians to achieve production targets and maintain a safe working environment. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and resolve operational issues. • Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate a team • Proven experience of 6+ years in managing chemical plant operations. • Deep knowledge of process safety, environmental regulations, and quality management systems. • Excellent leadership and communication skills. • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement corrective actions.WE VALUE
