Job Overview – Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA):

Compensation: $25/hour

Location: Bronx, NY

Schedule: Night Shift, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Take on a vital role as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with our client in the Bronx, NY, providing compassionate overnight care in a fast-paced clinical environment. Ideal for experienced CNAs, this opportunity involves supporting patients with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring comfort and safety throughout the night. You'll work closely with nursing staff to enhance patient care and maintain a high standard of service during overnight shifts.

Responsibilities as the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA):

• Patient Care Support: Assist with grooming, bathing, and hygiene tasks for patients with limited mobility.
• Meal Assistance & Medication Monitoring: Support patients with eating and ensure they take medications as prescribed.
• Room Preparation: Set up patient rooms with essential items and medical supplies to ensure comfort and readiness.
• Mobility Assistance: Transfer patients safely between beds, wheelchairs, and support walking exercises to promote physical activity.
• Monitoring & Reporting: Track vital signs and observe patient behavior, promptly reporting concerns to nursing or medical staff.
• Comfort & Safety Measures: Reposition patients regularly to prevent bedsores and support comfort throughout overnight care.

Qualifications for the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA):

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensure: Valid New York State CNA license required.
• Certification: BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of CNA experience in a clinical or long-term care setting.
• Skills & Attributes: Demonstrates compassion, attention to detail, strong communication, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in high-demand environments.
• Schedule: Must be available for overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
