Brookside Senior Living is hiring Part-Time or On-Call Caregivers (HHA or CNA) to join our team!  We will train for these positions!We are proud of our staff to patient ratio that allows us to provide that kind of quality of care for our residents. We are looking for Caregivers that can work long-term, not just for the Summer.

There is a Part-Time, benefit eligible position available working a varied schedule including every other weekend and holiday. Night (NOC) Hours: 10:00pm to 6:30am

There is a  On-Call/ Casual position available. We are looking for someone who has the flexibility to work on any shift. Hours, days, and shifts would be variable. Shift Hours: 6:00am to 2:30pm, 2:00pm to 10:30pm, 10:00pm to 6:30am

Pay Range: $17 to $24 / hour depending on experience

What does a Caregiver do?

• Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per individualized care plan.
• Take and record temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse and respiration as instructed. Report changes or concerns to the RN.
• Document services performed on computerized charting system.
• Observe resident and report any changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, reaction, and appetite, to the supervisor.
• Assist the resident with personal care which may include the following: shampooing of hair, assist with showering/ bathing, fingernail and foot care, and medication administration.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

What does a Caregiver require?

• Current Minnesota Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificate preferred but not required.
• Home Health Aide (HHA) experience required.
• Intends to work long-term and not just for the summer.
• Must be punctual, with a good attendance record.
