Job Summary:

We are seeking a Business Analyst I to join our team on a 12-month contract supporting business and systems analysis for a hybrid role based in Detroit, MI . This is an excellent opportunity for early-career professionals looking to grow their experience in business systems evaluation, process documentation, and requirements gathering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs.
• Formulate solutions that align with overall business strategies.
• Gather functional and technical requirements from stakeholders.
• Participate in meetings related to applications development and system enhancements.
• Assist with limited testing and validation activities.
• Document and translate business processes clearly and concisely, using process mapping tools and standard methodologies.
• Interpret client requirements into visual and structured business process documentation.

Qualifications:

• 1–3 years of experience gathering business or system requirements.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Visio is a plus).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with moderate supervision.
• Associate’s degree in Business, IT, or related field (preferred).
