As an Brand Manager you will:
Job Description:
PRODUCT MANAGEMENT: 45% of TIME
o Key P&L owner of Emerging Business lines.
o Develop annual plans that set clear objectives and strategies to connect with consumers, win with customers, and drive strong financial results.
o Strong analytic skills to understand drivers of the category, competition, and owned product lines, with the ability to succinctly deliver data-backed, actionable recommendations to move the business.
o Utilize consumer research & insights to guide product renovations & extensions – then partner with cross functional teams & agencies to develop product, packaging, P&Ls and commercialization plans to launch.
o Collaborate with Sales and Demand Planning teams to deliver forecast accuracy andmaximizedistribution opportunities & retailer support.
MARKETING ACTIVATIONS: 25% of TIME
o Lead integrated marketing campaigns – from creative development to full media plans – to drive outsized interest and excitement of newest businesses.
o Manage team of creative, media, PR, & consumer promo agencies to develop winning activations.
o Demonstrate ability to drive an agency/team through effective feedback, campaign analysis & optimizations, and relationship building.
GENERAL MANAGEMENT: 30% of TIME
o Manage one direct report, working collaboratively to achieve annual business & development objectives.
o Key strategic contributor to the Base Brand Team, leading core strategic projects across the team.
o Be the voice of the brand and emerging business lines to the Executive Team to drive alignment and achieve results.
What are we looking for?
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree required
Experience:
• 7+ years of relevant work experience, with 3+ years of Brand Management experience within the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) industry required. Skills:
• Strong knowledge and interest in healthy food trends.
• Highly curious & results-driven behavior.
• Strong project management skills.
• Self-starter – comfortable ‘figuring it out’.
• Quantitative strength –very comfortable with numbers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Cross-functional project team experience.
• Ability to influence and lead others.
