24 Seven is partnering with a well-known, digital print agency in Portland, OR to help them find an Art Director to join their team in this hybrid opportunity. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity with amazing benefits!

Ideal Candidate: will have a bachelor's degree in a related field and have at least 8 years of design and 3+ years of Art Direction or Creative Direction experience preferably in the retail and 3D design environment. Should have at least 3+ years of leadership experience. Must be highly skilled in using Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.

Art Director

We are searching for a visionary Art Director to lead and inspire our creative team while driving innovative concepts and strategies that elevate our brand and client projects. In this role, you will take ownership of the creative process, ensuring alignment with project goals, and serve as the key decision-maker for all artistic and visual elements. You will be instrumental in shaping the direction of projects, delivering compelling outcomes that exceed client expectations, and fostering an environment of collaboration and creativity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, communicate, and execute cohesive concepts, strategies, and guidelines across a range of creative projects, ensuring delivery on time and within scope.
• Collaborate with account executives to thoroughly understand client needs and translate them into actionable creative plans.
• Manage and inspire a team of designers, illustrators, and art directors, providing guidance, mentorship, and clear direction.
• Facilitate and lead brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas and unique design solutions.
• Review and refine team outputs, offering constructive feedback to optimize quality and effectiveness.
• Evaluate project performance and recommend improvements to enhance future outcomes and maintain creative excellence.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Art Direction and creative leadership roles.
• Proven expertise in managing creative teams and projects with measurable success.
• Strong hands-on experience with the creative process, from ideation to execution.
• Background in retail design and 3D design environments is highly desirable.
• Advanced proficiency in design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Bachelor’s degree in advertising, fine arts, design, or a related field preferred.
