Job Title: AI Software Engineering Intern

Location: Austin, Texas (Remote)

Compensation: $20 - $25 per hour + Bonus Potential

Join Proofmap , an Austin-based startup specializing in customer story marketing for B2B SaaS companies. We harness AI-powered content automation to transform what traditionally takes months into mere hours—helping companies embed social proof across the entire buyer journey.

We're looking for a driven and innovative AI Software Engineering Intern to join our founding team and play a pivotal role in shaping our product. You'll help develop a Proof of Concept (PoC) that will be presented to investors—directly influencing our next big moves.

Responsibilities:

• Integrate and optimize AI APIs to enhance content generation.
• Design and implement workflows that streamline content creation processes.
• Evaluate various AI services for efficiency in content applications.
• Develop and maintain tools and supporting infrastructure for AI integration.
• Prototype new features leveraging AI capabilities for customer testimonials.
• Develop a working PoC, utilizing your full-stack capabilities 

Required:

• Strong foundation in AI concepts and methodologies.
• Experience with AI frameworks and APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Claude, etc).
• Proficiency in backend methodologies like Python and Node.
• Familiarity with frontend frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.
• Broad understanding of application architecture, infrastructure, database management, security, and compliance.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
