Hours: Full-Time or Part-Time

As an Accounting Assistant with Deland, Gibson, you will compile and review financial information and accurately maintain records. The successful candidate will be a team player with excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, reconcile and track expense reports through the internal system
• Bank Reconciliations
• Vendor Payments
• Bank Deposits
• AP/AR
• Processing miscellaneous agreements, checks, deposits, journal entries
• Payroll functions
• Clerical and other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years Accounting experience or graduate of Accounting program
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Must be a team player and be able to work with all levels of the organization effectively and efficiently
• Strong sense of urgency combined with close attention to detail
• Ability to maintain and handle confidential materials on a routine basis
• Ability to work under time constraints and meet deadlines while multitasking
• Self-starter with a high level of detail orientation and organization, capable of working independently
