Job Description

We are looking for a skilled ABAP Cloud Clean Core Developer to join our SAP team supporting digital transformation in the pharmaceutical and life sciences sector . The successful candidate will combine strong ABAP Cloud and RAP expertise with a clear understanding of Clean Core principles and the regulatory requirements that govern pharmaceutical operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain upgrade-safe, extensible solutions in SAP S/4HANA Cloud following Clean Core principles.
• Use ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) to build modern, cloud-ready applications.
• Ensure all developments are designed and documented in line with pharmaceutical compliance standards (GxP, CFR Part 11, validation protocols) .
• Collaborate with functional, quality, and compliance teams to deliver solutions that are both technically sound and audit-ready .
• Develop APIs, CDS views, OData services, and integration scenarios that support regulated business processes.
• Support SAP S/4HANA transformation projects within manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and regulatory domains .
• Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and validation activities to ensure alignment with IT and QA requirements.
• Stay current with SAP BTP extensibility, Clean Core roadmap, and pharma industry digital trends .

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in ABAP Cloud Development and the RAP model .
• Strong understanding of SAP Clean Core strategy and extensibility patterns.
• Practical experience with SAP S/4HANA Cloud (Public or Private Edition) .
• Familiarity with regulated environments (Life Sciences/Pharma) , including GxP, validation, and compliance standards.
• Hands-on experience with CDS views, OData, SAP Fiori, and SAP BTP development tools .
• Knowledge of audit and validation documentation practices (e.g., functional specs, design docs, test evidence).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across IT, QA, and business stakeholders.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with SAP Business Application Studio (Client) and DevOps in validated environments .
• Exposure to CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model) and event-driven architectures.
• Knowledge of SAP Integration Suite and GxP-compliant integrations.
• SAP Certification in ABAP for SAP S/4HANA or ABAP Cloud .

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of SAP ABAP experience, with at least 2+ years focused on ABAP Cloud / RAP .
• Previous experience working in a regulated Life Sciences or Pharma environment highly preferred.
